These are a few of our favourite things… for this week at least.

Singlehood

On Thursday night the office emptied out as the Her and JOE teams headed to Dublin's Olympia Theatre to support our fellow JOE.ie bro, Eric Lalor, as he took to the stage to do what he does best, comedy.
After a spectacular run at the Dublin Fringe Festival, Singlehood returned to the stage and had us all in complete stitches as they highlighted just what it means to be single in today's society. The play is an exclusive look at the personal triumphs and losses we all experience but seldom articulate, framed by a stomping single’s soundtrack and original songs by Aidan Strangeman.
So if you're looking for something to do this weekend, Singlehood kicks off tonight at 8pm and again tomorrow. Tickets are priced from €24, trust us, for that amount of laughs it is worth every cent. Also, Eric's dancing needs to be seen to be believed, it is truly inspirational.
Daisy Dreams!
Give Cathy a pretty bottle containing a gorgeous scent and chances are she'll be your friend for life. Okay, slight exaggeration but the new Marc Jacobs fragrance 'Daisy Dream' is definitely a brilliant idea if you're looking to spoil someone special. It combines floral and fruity notes, think rich jasmine and fresh coconut. If that's not enough to entice you, just LOOK at the packaging!
On a Holiday High
Rebecca has been smiling all week after booking her ski holiday for next year. She's heading off to Méribel in the Three Valleys in France next February for a week and has already started counting down the days... and buying some new gear... okay lots of gear. But hey, it's better to be prepared!
Tea time!
Grace and Rebecca received some Chá Yi tea, an all-natural product that helps to boost the metabolism and cleanse the digestive system to maximise weight loss, into the office this week and they can't get enough of the stuff. Chances are, if the kettle is boiling, it's them.
3 is the magic number...
Wave goodbye to the O2 and say hello to the 3 Arena.
This week we headed down to the official launch of Dublin’s 3Arena, formerly known as the Point and O2, for a fantastic night of entertainment.
Irish techno favourites, Le Galaxie, played a list of their synth hits to the crowd. The highlight of the night followed shortly after, as the largest projection display ever to be shown in Ireland, took place outside the front of the building. A truly spectacular evening, we’re looking forward to heading back already!
The Sunday Sessions
Earlier in the week our gal Grace was back in The Workman's Club, Dublin, for The Sunday Sessions recordings.
In the mix this week was three phenomenally talented ladies and our favourite up-and-coming Irish crooner. Wicklow's Tara Lee, Cork native Stephanie Rainey and Dublin's Bairbre Anne performed stripped back renditions of some of their favourite racks.
Gavin James, who received some major love from Ed Sheeran over the weekend, made Grace's week with one very special performance that you'll have to stay tuned for. She promises us it is one not to be missed.
A Week Of Adventures And Treks With A Little Lady

Liz just spent the past week in the highlands (ok lowlands) of Scotland, visiting her sister and baby niece. Activities included eating churros dipped into a pot of melted chocolate (divine), vintage shopping and a toddler 80s disco with brunch. She also got to brush up on her playground skills, and is now an expert voiceover artists for hand puppets.
She was quite taken with her latest A/W 2014 accessories. Although she was sad to say goodbye, she did enjoy the sleep on the plane, and the nap when she got home, and the early night that evening! Being a fun aunty is a full-time job (not that she’s complaining. The hugs make it totally worthwhile.)
Feeling fabulous with a new Michael Kors treat!

Mary is loving life this week, with the arrival of her pretty new blue Michael Kors wallet on Wednesday. The girls went on a bit of a shopping spree, when Outnet had a discount day online.
She was feeling a bit lonely on Tuesday, as all the girls' goodies arrived, but not to fear, the DHL man came to the rescue bright and early Wednesday morning putting her in great form for the rest of the week. God bless Michael Kors!
A Little Bit of Magic
Our resident
Harry Potter fan Rebecca got to sit down for a chat with actress Evanna Lynch (also known as Luna Lovegood) this week. When she stopped fangirling, they had a good old chinwag about the film franchise that catapulted Evanna into the spotlight and her favourite Disney Princess (you'll have to wait for the interview to find that out).
That face!
Last but by no means least, we'll have to give a shout out to the miniature hero a.k.a Grace's nephew Cillian.
Here he is on his very first day of School... Yes, Grace cried and insists on showing us this photo at least three times a day. They grow up so fast!
