We all need a good news story now and again, and when we stumbled across this one, it got us right in the feels.
Marty Malcolm has been working as a hairdresser for the last 60 years of her life. At the age of 74, she's decided that it's time to hang up the scissors. Of course, after so many years of service, it wasn't going to be a standard goodbye from her colleagues at the salon she established back in 1980, and what they planned was truly special.
The team at Hair & Co. in Newtonards welcomed Marty for her final shift with a guard of honour and it wasn't only Marty who was in tears by the end of it.
