Obviously Tetris is the best game ever. It is not only the easiest game to understand the rules of but also super entertaining when you're stuck on a plane for eight hours.
Imagine playing the game on the biggest screen yet: the side of a sky scraper with 29 stories. The Philadelphia Circa Centre which was normally used to display static images or simple looping patterns, had been transformed into a fully interactive game by a computer science professor.
"I initially thought of the idea in 2008," Lee told Arstechnica.com.
"I was driving down at night, and saw the sparkling lights at the Cira Centre. The LED lights at the Cira Centre are built-in as part of the structure of the building. Every other night I would just pass by it, but this night I saw Tetris shapes forming in my mind's eye, falling down, and that began this long journey to try to make this game possible."
The player isn't the best and his imitations of the soundtrack is horrendous but if he made this happen, he deserves an award.
