Brought to you by NOW.

No promises you’ll make the Olympic team anytime soon…

With the bulk of our Christmas shopping done, we all could do with a fun activity to let our hair down over the next few weeks, and a trip one of Dublin’s ice-skating rinks is right up our alley.

This festive period, we’re piling on our favourite Christmas athleisure and rounding up our best pals to head to NOW on Ice in Dundrum Town Centre and Swords Pavilions. NOW on Ice at Swords is open until 15 January, while the Dundrum branch runs until 27 January, so get your skates on (literally) and enjoy the festivities while you can.

Here are three reasons we’ll be hitting up NOW on Ice over the next few weeks.

Good vibes, guaranteed

With a festive atmosphere and plenty of good tunes on the speakers, you’re guaranteed good vibes at NOW on Ice.

You may surprise yourself

Look, we’re not promising you you’ll make the Winter Olympics team anytime soon, but you may surprise yourself with your ice-skating skills. Or, you might wobble on the ice. Either way, you’ll have a brilliant time gauging your ability at NOW on Ice, particularly if you go with a big gaggle of pals.

The après-sakte is just as fun

Once you’ve had your fill on the ice, keep the good times going with a warming hot chocolate or a bite to eat at one of the many great vendors in Dundrum Town Centre and Swords Pavilions.

You can book your tickets for NOW on Ice at Swords Pavilions here and at Dundrum Town Centre here.

After enjoying the ice, rest up with a festive movie. Right now, you can enjoy Christmas blockbusters plus box sets by signing up for NOW‘s festive offer, which includes a NOW Cinema Membership for €7.99 for six months, plus a month’s free NOW Entertainment Membership.
