There is no denying that Harry Potter fans share a special bond.
We all remember the excitement we felt when a new book was released, staying up all night to read it and then poring over the plotlines endlessly with our pals.
A whole new generation of readers are now being introduced to Harry, Ron and Hermione and the diehard fans are doing something really sweet for them.
Using the hashtag #PotteritForward, fans of the series are leaving notes to future readers in the books before donating them to libraries or bookshops.
The campaign was started on the popular Harry Potter fan-site Mugglenet, and has taken Twitter and Tumblr by storm.
Have you joined our global movement and left a note in a bookstore/library copy of #HarryPotter? #PotterItForward https://t.co/FFGcD4Xexx
