The name of the class is "The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender, and Media.” The class uses the popstar's life to study “transitions to adulthood”, “allies and appropriation”, and “gender stratification and the hyper-commodification of childhood”. Even though we think she could more interesting as a case study in a Psychology class, we don't think it's the worst idea because we'd love to understand how phenomenons like Miley actually happen.
