You don’t need to stay in the capital to get a great bite, proven by the fact that An Port Mor Restaurant, Mayo, Kai, Galway and Eala Bhan, Sligo were placed in fourth, fifth and sixth place respectively.

Ristorante Rinuccini in Kilkenny and Freddy's Bistro, Limerick had our mouths watering for dessert, while if you’re looking for real food cooked to perfection, you can’t go too far wrong by stumbling into The Pig’s Ear, Dublin.
Finally, rounding off the top 10 was Zuni, Kilkenny – with the boutique hotel’s restaurant offering a splash of flavour to your trip around the castle and walls of this iconic city.
