Grace's Choice: My Loss, Your Gain
Grace says: This was an easy choice for me, as this next story brought me many smiles over the week. A gentleman in Western Australia is advertising an engagement ring for free on Gumtree, however there's a twist. In a bid to see it have the happy ending it deserves, the man wants people to submit proposal plans, and the best one will receive the ring. Since the story was posted on Wednesday evening, I've received numerous emails from hopeless romantics... Whoever said romance was dead, clearly never heard of Gum Tree.

Sue's Choice: In Loving Memory
Sue says: My favourite story from this week was the tribute to Philip Seymour Hoffman whose death came as quite a shock on Sunday. Hoffman was one of my favourite actors working in Hollywood with such diversity in his character choices. Whenever you saw his name listed on a cast, you were entirely confident that the film must be a good one, he only worked on projects that were interesting. The movies we chose were six of our favourites but there are many, many, many more. RIP Philip, we will miss you dearly.
