This Thanksgiving tale of two strangers having dinner together is adorable

This what the festive season is about

Now THIS is one special story.

Over Christmas and other festive seasons of the year, we can let the pressure of having the most perfect time get to us and we become a little competitive.

It seems that everyone these days gets caught up in having the most of everything before Christmas, with the best tree, best presents and best dinner all necessary things to have the BEST day ever.

One woman in the U.S. is a shining example to us all, as she’s hitting headlines for her kindness to a stranger she accidentally invited to Thanksgiving dinner.

Spotted on NBC News, grandmother Wanda Dench sent out a text to her friends and family to invite them to dinner but sent a rogue text to a different number, that of Jamal Hinton.

Jamal took to Twitter to share the texts he got, and the internet fell in love with the kindness Wanda showed almost immediately.

Despite knowing that Jamal was total stranger, Wanda still invited him over for dinner.

Jamal thus posted an update showing he did in fact go for dinner at Grandma Dench’s house and the internet lost it’s mind at the touching story.

Followers couldn’t believe the brilliant end to the story.
