This is a video that really sent a chill up our spines today.
It shows professional surfer Mick Fanning having a bush with a shark during a competition in South Africa.
The 34-year-old was waiting to catch a wave when the predator approached him.
Thankfully he was unharmed during the incident, which saw the event cancelled for the remainder of the day.
Speaking to Fox Sports afterwards, he explained: “I was just sitting there, I was just about to start moving and then I felt something grab… get stuck in my leg rope.
“I instantly just jumped and he kept coming at my board. I was just kicking and screaming. I saw fins. I was waiting for the teeth.”
