Stop everything! THIS is how you’re supposed to eat an apple? Eh… why weren’t we told this at a young age? We feel as though we’ve been lied to for years.
According to the folks at Food Beast we waste at least 30 per cent of an apple by eating it from the side. We never knew there was a proper way to eat an apple, but apparently you’re supposed to chow down on one from top to bottom, like the guy in the video.
Apparently eating an apple from top to bottom makes the apple’s core essential ‘disappear’ so you just get all the goodness of the apple.
We have one question: what the hell do you do with the pips? Can you just eat them?
