Squirrel Arrested After Woman Complained it was “Stalking” Her

A squirrel has been arrested in Germany, after a woman complained to police that the small mammal was stalking her.  Officers in North Rhine-Westphalia received an unusual distress call on Wednesday, when a woman from Bottrop claimed the squirrel was "chasing" her. Members of the force updated their Facebook page with a post on the event, explaining that they agreed the squirrel's behaviour was "aggressive" and adding that they has "arrested" the creature. In reality, they brought the animal to the station where it was found to be suffering from exhaustion, so the officers fed him with pieces of apple and honey tea. A police spokesman said the squirrel would be sent to a rescue centre when he was well enough.   Hat Tip: Story via The Telegraph
