Spoiler Alert: Seth MacFarlane Takes To Twitter After Family Guy’s Christmas Special

The canine, he's alive! Yes folks, the Griffin family's Christmas is complete as the beloved pooch Brian returns to the series. The death of Brian caused outrage amongst Family Guy fans, who were distraught at the thoughts of the show without him... There's no show without punch pooch. Last week the rumour mill was in overdrive at the prospect the dog could make a triumphant return and in last night's Christmas special, titled ‘Christmas Guy’, he did just that. In the episode Stewie travels back in time to prevent Brian from getting run over by the car. Time travelling Stewie then tackles Brain out of harm’s way telling him, "You’re alive, my friend." Brian: "What the hell do you mean? Of course I’m alive." Stewie: "Brian that car killed you and when it did a little part of me died as well. I couldn’t live without you. So I came back from the future to save your life." Brian: "Wow Stewie, thank you for saving my life. You know a lot of other families would have just gotten a new dog and moved on." Stewie: "Oh, we could never do something like that Brian." Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane,  took to Twitter to air his thoughts on the passing and rescuing of Brian Griffin.

MacFarlane first tweeted his followers telling them: "never take those you love for granted, for they can be gone in a flash."

He then continues by suggesting the team would've had to be "fucking high" to kill of Brian... We're not going to lie Seth, that thought did cross our minds.
