Two of our favourite animated families are getting together for one crossover extravaganza that we will certainly not be missing.
The Simpsons and Family Guy are combining hilarious forces for the first time and Fox have celebrated the confirmation of the special’s release date with a sneak peek of what is in store.
The first images from the hour-long episode have been released and feature the greatest cartoon father and son duos in history.

Small storyline details have emerged and suggest that ‘The Simpsons Guy‘ will see the Griffin’s going on excursion to the Springfield.
Marge and Lois will hit it off and Homer finds a man after his own heart (beer) in “albino” Peter, as the pair debate whether Pawtucket or Duff booze is better.
The images were also accompanied by some amusing quotes from both Homer and Peter Griffin.
Griffin: “Fox hasn’t spent this much money since they took Simon Cowell tight T-shirt shopping!”
“Finally I can get my hands on this guy!” Homer adds.
The episode will hit our screens this September and kickstart new seasons of both shows.
