Upwards of 100 homes are expected to be flooded in the coming days following two weather warnings issued by Met Eireann.
The West of the country has been the worst affected with water levels on the River Shannon continuing to rise and expected to peak at the weekend.

Met Eireann have warned that conditions will ease off today and tomorrow but that further heavy rain is expected over the weekend.
Troops have been deployed in high risk areas including Clonlara in Co Clare, Castleconnell in Co Limerick and Ballinasloe, Co Galway.
Her reader Louise Farragher sent in shocking images of her locality near Ballinrobe in Mayo, noting that the community are “in need of help”.
She wrote: “It’s getting scary now, and with more bad weather to come, we’re all in fear.”
Speaking in Paris at the UN climate summit, Environment Minister Alan Kelly said or the emergency response:
“I think the response is very good. Every single member of outdoor staff in the affected areas are out as many hours as they can physically work.
“In conjunction with the Gardaí, Defence Forces and Civil Defence, everything that can be done at the local authority and community side is being done.”
