Every day there’s a new rumour concerning the judging panel for the next series of The X Factor.
Just when it looked like Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow are out, and Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne are back in, they go and throw Noel Gallagher into the mix.
Noel is in the frame for the next series of the singing competition.
Apparently ITV bosses are eager to get the former Oasis star to sign on the dotted line and are even telling him to name his price (as long as it’s around the £2 million mark of course).
An insider told The Sun: “Simon is determined to get Noel on board. He sees him as his natural replacement as the real alpha male on the panel.” (Wonder who they’re referring to as the fake alpha male?!)
They added: “He thinks Noel would be ideal, with his music knowledge, straight-talking and rapier wit.”
Simon still has control over who is on the show and who isn't.
But it might not be as easy as it sounds as Noel reportedly turned down a place on the talent show before.
As per usual we are no closer to figuring out who is going to be on the panel for the next series. At this rate we wouldn’t be surprised if they created a show to determine it as well!
