President Michael D Higgins sends the sweetest letter to a woman on her birthday

We love Michael D Higgins.

He's the president that everybody loves and nobody can get enough of him - especially since he's now been coined as miggeldy higgins. Well, if we could not love him even more, a letter has been posted on Reddit in which President Higgins wishes an 100-year-old a happy birthday. The letter was posted on Ireland Reddit and here it is in full:

Dear Mrs. - I have learned with great pleasure that you will celebrate on 29 March, 2018 the hundredth anniversary of your birth.  What a wonderful occasion for you, your extended family and friends as you reminisce  and celebrate a life great in years, and I have no doubt, rich in accomplishments. I join with your family and friends in wishing you a very happy birthday. Born, as you were, in the second decade of the twentieth century, you have lived through remarkable times in the history of Ireland and the world. You have witness remarkable changes, in lifestyles and technological developments, unimaginable at the time of your birth in 1918.  May you be surrounded today by the warmth of happy memories and secure in the knowledge that you continue to make this world a better place for all who love you.
