They went. They competed. They conquered.
Team Ireland have had an absolutely incredible week at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in LA this last seven days, and were given a hero’s welcome when they arrived back to Dublin Airport earlier today.
The talented athletes returned to the capital with a whopping 82 medals in tow and friends, family and supporters took to Twitter and Instagram to share in the celebrations and excitement.
