The Christmas celebrations are well underway, as the majority of Irish offices dandered to the local for one before heading home.
I decided I would wet the baby Jesus’ head a little earlier than usual with some well-made cocktails from the wonderful Opium Rooms on Dublin’s Wexford Street.
I decided to opt for the chilli infused Smirnoff Vodka, Fresh Mint, Passionfruit, Apple Juice, Sugar Syrup, topped with Prosecco, otherwise known as a Takeout Tonic on their Cocktail menu, because, why the hell not?!
One question I must ask the general public… How hipster is too hipster?
#HowHipsterIsTooHipster? When you pay €12 for a drink and they serve it to you IN A RICE BOX pic.twitter.com/K4Sre1EWtu

First burgers on wooden boards, chips in baskets, and now drink in a box. A rice box. A box that carries rice. Rice.
The biggest problem with the drink was having to ask for it without ice, because, like a true hipster, I wanted to drink it before it was cool.
(The drink actually cost €9.90 and I will definitely be going back for more).
