Orange Is The New Black star Samira Wiley married her writer girlfriend (and both brides looked INCREDIBLE)

It was a funfetti-themed dream come true.

Orange Is The New Black star Samira Wiley married her girlfriend, the writer Lauren Morelli in Palm Springs, California yesterday. The pair, who met on the set of the hit TV show, settled on an intimate ceremony, making their vows in front of a select group of their closest family and friends outdoors in the 16C spring sunshine. It was a family affair, with Wiley's parents officiating at the ceremony and both Samira and Lauren wore stunning creations designed by Christian Siriano; Samira in an off-the-shoulder gown and Lauren in a jumpsuit with lace detail, complete with cape. The American actress and model, best known for playing Poussey Washington in the Netflix original series, announced the couple's engagement in October.

Their wedding, planned by Beth Helmstetter Events, was held in the same location where the question was popped, with both brides walking up the aisle to the Montell Jordan track This Is How We Do It. Martha Stewart Weddings reports that they arrived at their wedding reception to Justin Bieber's hit song Baby as a confetti canon showered guests in funfetti. Wiley (29) and Lauren have been together since 2014, when Morelli divorced her husband of two years Steve Basilone. The couple announced their engagement on Instagram, posting a photo of Samira showing off a diamond and yellow-gold engagement ring.
