One county is miles ahead when it comes to Ireland’s sexiest accents

Ireland's sexiest accent has been revealed and it's all about that lilt.

Incredible scenery, a slower (and happier) pace of life and the sexiest damn accents in all the land. Donegal has it all. According to research by the hotel chain Jury's Inn, Donegal people have been judged to have the sexiest accents in Ireland. Over 1,000 people were questioned for the survey and a massive 37 percent felt the dulcet tones from the north-west beat the rest of the country hands down. If you were born in the capital, there is one piece of very good news - a massive 28 percent of people thought Dublin men were the most handsome in the 32 counties, with 27 percent believing Dublin women to be the most beautiful in the country. The survey also revealed that 24 percent of Irish people find French to be the sexiest overseas accent, followed by Aussies (18 percent) and Italians (17 percent).
