There were some major upsets in today’s Tesco National Football League as both of last year’s All-Ireland finalists – Dublin and Cork – were beaten.
Monaghan ladies team caused a major upset in Division 1 this afternoon when they overcame Cork by just one point in a cracking game at home.
The action was end-to-end from the word go, with neither team able to gain the upper hand for any long periods of time.
There was massive support at the game in Monaghan and the home crowd were there to see their side drive to a 2-11 to 2-10 victory.
