If Barbie was a real-life person, we have no doubt that she’d definitely dine in this restaurant. Why? Well, everything is in her favourite colour and even the chairs wear tutus. It’s almost as if this restaurant was designed with her specifically in mind...
Yes, believe it or not but the world’s first official Barbie-themed restaurant has now opened in Taipei, Taiwan. Check it out:

The Huffington Post reports that ‘Barbie Cafe’ which is licenced by Mattel (the manufacturer of Barbie) have given the project their blessing. The restaurant features hot pink sofas, tables shaped like shoes and staff who wear tutus, glitter and tiaras. Apparently Mattel is hoping that the cafe will help further establish Barbie as a fashion brand.

“We picked Taiwan because theme restaurants are very popular and successful here. We are very confident that the Barbie Cafe can promote our brand image,” said Iggy Yip, a senior manager in Mattel’s consumer products division.
So aside from cute surroundings and Barbie-themed food, what else does the restaurant have to offer? Well you can get your hands on dolls, Barbie-themed clothing, accessories and furniture. Awesome.

So what do you think? Would you grab a bite to eat in a Barbie-themed restaurant?
