Liars ALWAYS get caught!
— Kelly Osbourne (@KellyOsbourne) April 6, 2015
Osbourne quit her role on the E! show in the wake of Rancic's comment that Zendaya must "smell like patchouli... or weed" because she wore her hair in dreadlocks on the red carpet.
However, Rancic has since spoken out to say that she was badly edited on the offending episode.
I think it's time to just tell the truth. I find racism reprehensible. I don't tolerate it at all. Nor have I ever," she said
"I thought the joke was not edited in the proper way. That's just something I have to live with. It's very important for me to get out there and tell the real story."
Osborne is said to have been angered by the comments, feeling that she "should have just been truthful, apologized, and moved on".
