A masterclass in boxing.
Irish boxer Katie Taylor has secured a spot in the semi-finals at the European Games in Baku.
The talented Bray star faced off to Sweden’s Ida Lundblad in the quarter finals on Wednesday morning and is now guaranteed at least a bronze medal at this year’s games.
The Olympic champion was on the attack from the off, and secured the opening round on all three judges’ scorecards.
She continued to dominate into the second, and though Lundblad tried to go on the offensive, she just could not get near to the Irish fighter.
With the opening two rounds under her belt, Taylor breezed through the last two rounds.
Next up for the Irish star will be Azerbaijan’s Yana Alekseevna.
