I will say one thing, there's nothing wrong with wanting to leave your body hair the way it is and grow it out, but having it gone is just what I personally prefer.
Walking in on the first appointment was nothing like I expected. Thinking I'd be nervous to bare all, it was the complete opposite.
I don't know if I had just blocked it from my mind or the fact that I was running late made me forget about it, but it couldn't have been a more positive experience.
The woman who I had booked my appointment with was incredible, she was reassuring and talked me through every step of the process. Any questions I had, she covered and made me feel so comfortable in a not so comfortable environment.
She chatted away, asking question after question, completely distracting me from the fact that a laser was shooting at my under arms.
I always imagined that it would hurt, or at least be somewhat uncomfortable, but it wasn't at all. The initial patch test felt just like air blowing and as it got to more sensitive spots, it tingled slightly but nothing crazy.
When I booked it, I paid for 10 sessions, meant it won't be done fully until next year as there's a six week gap between each session.
And while it is still a while away until I begin seeing real changes, I've already noticed that the regrowth has slowed down, going from shaving every two days to now doing it once a week.
If you're thinking of getting this done, but worried, I'm here to tell you it's definitely worth it. From no pain or discomfort to noticing changes after only one session, laser hair removal is more than worth the money.Life
