Are you getting bored of reading your Twitter feed in English? Yes? Well now you can browse it entirely in the ‘lolcat’ language.
The ‘lolcat’ language is a dialect that was made famous by the website ICanHazCheezburger.com. If you’re a fan of all those hilariously cute cat memes that have bad spelling, then chances are you’re already fluent in ‘lolcat.’
Anyway, Twitter just announced the new feature by posting this on their account:
To change your tweets to ‘lolcat’ simply go to your settings page and select ‘lolcat’ from the dropdown languages menu.
Or, if you want to be slightly evil, break into your BFF’s/boyfriend’s account and switch it for them (they probably won’t thank you for doing this but it will be hilarious).
Twitter are encouraging users to note that the language is still in Beta mode (meaning that some translations may not be that accurate).
