Did you know that reading raunchy novels like Fifty Shades of Grey could actually be good for you? Yeah, we find it hard to believe as well, but sex and relationship expert Tracey Cox has spoken out about the importance of porn when it comes to a woman’s sex drive.
The Daily Mail columnist has said that she firmly believes every woman should watch porn or read some kind of erotic fiction for at least 20 minutes every day in order for them to maintain a healthy sex drive.
Tracey has championed the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon and said that she feels E.L James’ naughty novels have actually helped women to reclaim their sexuality and their libido. And it seems as though the benefits of dirty books are now being backed up by science.
Dirty books and films are apparently key when it comes to keeping our sex drives healthy
According to some new research, reading an erotic book for a few minutes every single day helps women (in particular) to add to the “library” of sexually explicit images that they have in their heads.
Researchers believe that this imaginary X-rated library is key when it comes to helping us maintain a healthy sex drive. Basically, a bit of porn keeps your desire working exactly as it should. Who can argue with that?
Tracey has said she feels that the reason why men generally tend to have higher sex drives than women is because they are open to watching more porn than their female counterparts. We have to say, we can see how she came to this conclusion.
What do you think ladies? Should we all be busting out the filthy reads?
