Ho Chi Minh

One of the most incredible and interesting cities in Asia, Ho Chi Minh is both exhilarating and terrifying as it is so busy. The French influence can be seen in its buildings, street names and architecture and be prepared to be blown away.

Handy hint: Be sure to visit the stunning Opera House, the Cu Chi tunnels, and drop in to Ben Thanh market.

Mekong Delta

During your stay in Ho Chi Minh be sure to make time for a day trip to the Mekong Delta. Discover floating villages, markets and restaurants and a way of life you will fall head over feet for.

Handy hint: Be sure to check out the bee farms and see coconut candy being made.

Paradise Cave

Paradise Cave is located deep in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and is an absolute must-see. Follow the wooden staircases down into a truly amazing space.

Handy hint: It has become a major tourist destination in recent years so get here as early as you can to avoid the crowds.

Con Dao Islands

One of Vietnam’s many beautiful gems, the Con Dao islands are getting more popular every year. Visit the largest island Con Son and explore the coral reefs, head off hiking and check out the diving opportunities. These islands are steeped in history and were once home to thousands of prisoners.

Handy hint: You might need a bit more cash to get here, but it’s worth it.

Ha Long Bay

One of the most well-known bays in the world, Ha Long Bay is shrouded in legendary tales including one that claims the islands were made by a dragon from the mountains.

Handy hint: Take a two-night cruise around the islands and basically sit back, relax and enjoy.

Da Nang

Life will certainly feel like a beach with a trip to the stunning My Khe beach in Da Nang. Chill out in one of the many fab resorts and while away your time on the beach.

Handy hint: If you’re feeling up to it, you can do some water sports in the clear turquoise waters. Heaven.

Furama, Da Nang

Hoi An

The only word you’ll need in this city is ‘Wow’. The gorgeous old town will enchant and delight you, lanterns will capture your imagination and basically, it’s the perfect space to relax and unwind.

Handy hint: Book a spot in a café along the river and watch the sun go down on an absolutely beautiful city.

Nha Trang

If you’re looking for a place to party then look no further. It may not be the most scenic of destinations, but it’s definitely a great spot for a night out.

Handy hint: Head off on a spontaneous bar crawl and be sure to visit ‘Why Not?’.

Mui Ne

The sand dunes of Mui Ne have become another hugely popular tourist attraction and boasts more visitors each year.

Handy hint: Be sure to check out the regular sand dunes, and also discover the red dunes a bit further south.

Hanoi

Again, another city that will blow you away with how busy it is, there are a number of things to see in Hanoi. Our favourite though, has to be Hoan Kiem Lake.

Handy hint: Be sure to visit the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
