Roll out the green carpet… Kermit is coming to Ireland!
Disney have just taken to their Twitter account to announce that part of the ‘Muppets… Again’ movie will be shot in Ireland later this year.
The sequel to the 2012 hit reboot will star Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell.
Some details for the plot of the new movie were released last week; Kermit and the gang are set to find themselves mixed up with a criminal mastermind named Constantine while they’re enjoying a world tour. Unfortunately for Kermit, Constantine happens to be a dead ringer for him – so all sorts of trouble ensues.
‘Muppets… Again’ is due for release in March 2014. There are no further details as yet regarding which cast members will be accompanying our favourite childhood heroes but if Tina Fey is on the way you can be sure Team Her.ie will be camping outside the set.

Disney Movies Ireland apologise, and say that Dublin will feature in the movie – but scenes will not necessarily be filmed in Dublin.
