Science discovers foolproof rule to sort the gents from the boys…
Looking for love but terrified of getting burned? In a new relationship and wondering if your new beau is a keeper? Then we have the answer you’ve been waiting for.
Research shows that men who are attentive and considerate to women generally have longer ring fingers than their index fingers.
Those with ring and index fingers of similar length tend to be more stubborn and rude.
According to the ‘Digit ratio’ rule, when the ring finger length is greater this signifies that men have been exposed to more hormones in the womb and therefore make for nicer guys.
Guys with smaller or similar length ring fingers were exposed to more male hormones before birth.
The study, which was carried out by scientists at McGill University in Canada, saw 155 participants complete forms for every social interaction that lasted five minutes or more over a 20-day period.
Each individual was asked to tick off a list of behaviours they engaged in, which were classified as ‘agreeable’ or ‘quarrelsome’.
According to results, men with longer ring fingers reported roughly a third fewer quarrelsome behaviours than their counterparts.
So men, you can keep those unwanted dick pics to yourself and start providing us with photographs of your hands instead.
