At least one of the main characters from hit RTÉ drama Love/Hate will be killed off next season.
According to the Irish Sun, the much anticipated fifth series will have intense shoot-out scenes, new gangsters and at least one major character will meet a grisly end.
The new series is set to begin filming in Dublin in just two weeks, but cast members have been sworn to secrecy about the details.
“There are some big shoot-outs planned which will result in casualties, meaning some very well-known faces being killed off this season,” a source said.
It is thought that the new series will concentrate on lead character Nidge as Gardaí continue to pursue him.
