Google Maps set up a ‘dog view’ for street view and it’s mesmerising

Beautiful. Just beautiful.

One can never have enough dog in their life. No, really, they can’t.

Even if you’ve got approximately 80 dogs in your life and you see them every day and you adore them but feel like you don’t need any more dogs, you can always have more dog in your life.

Lucky for us then that Google Maps have created a ‘dog view’ feature that lets you see the streets through the eyes of a dog.

Stunning.

The dogs in question are Ako and Asuka, the Japanese Akitas, or as they are otherwise known, the greatest dogs in the world.

The dogs were set up with the animal-friendly harnesses carrying cameras and set on some walks around the city of Odate to capture some of the divine landscapes and infrastructure.

And seeing as Odate is the birthplace of the Akita breed, it does make sense that that’s where they’d be roaming around.

The cameras are set up on the dog’s backs, so as you watch, it feels like you’re being taken on a journey of self-discovery around Odate atop a furry friend.

You can even turn the camera around to see the doggies’ tails.

Adorable.
