A four-year-old boy is breaking hearts across social media this week thanks to the emotional letter he wrote to the ‘bad men’ who took his dog.
Springer Spaniel Fern has been missing from her home in Surrey for some time now, and four-year-old Ethan Ferrier has put pen to paper to show the depth of his emotion over her loss.
The note reads: “To the bad men who took Fern, can Fern come home now please. I miss her.”
There have been no further updates about the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and the family stated on Facebook that they are determined to keep looking for her.
“We have no leads, no information, no lucky breaks, no police raids that have unearthed our beloved Fern.
“This is all we have,” they stated. “So we will ride this wave with fingers, toes and legs crossed that somebody has a tiny bit of information which may help us locate her.”
“Hope, support, and the odd person say, “I believe it’s possible” is all we have to keep us ploughing forwards.”
People are tweeting their support for the campaign with #findfern.
