This election has been a very dramatic one, and several days later there is still no clear path for a new government to take.
Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil could go into coalition together, but many believe that given the history of the two parties this would be unworkable. Other options could include another election or further negotiations between parties and independent candidates.
It’s all very confusing, and the lack of a secure governmental future is making people very nervous.
However, former Minister For Education and Fine Gael TD Gemma Hussey took to Twitter to reassure us that our situation may not be as bad as others around the world:

For those of you who aren’t aware of this man, his name is Kim Jong Un and he is currently the supreme leader of known dictatorship North Korea.
Surely a bit of a comparative stretch, no?
Hussey has a bit of a history in terms of making bold statements, just last week she treated us to this gem.
