‘Uterus Prime’ jumpers in support of repealing the 8th are now on sale

"Bodily autonomy is the right of all sentient beings."

Uterus Prime is a close relative of Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots from the popular Transformers series. But Uterus Prime is also a keen supporter of the campaign to repeal the 8th amendment, and this week, the Autobot is set to return to Dublin. Today, jumpers and T-shirts bearing the Uterus Prime design are available to buy online in support of bodily autonomy for the women of Ireland. The garments cost €35 each and will be available for collection on the morning of this year's March for Choice on September 30. All funds will go directly to the Abortion Rights Campaign.  The garments' design combines the female reproductive system with the Transformers hero to create a feminist warrior Autobot that wants to raise awareness for Ireland's reproductive rights fight. As Optimus lives by the mantra “freedom is the right of all sentient beings," Uterus is a believer that "bodily autonomy is the right of all sentient beings" too. Uterus Prime was designed by architect and artist Rae Moore.
