Many replied to the thread saying that they wouldn't feel too comfortable about preserving a dress that got puked on. One said:"Hi Weddit,
"We made it through the wedding but my dress went through quite a bit, including a wedding guest who indulged bit too much and got sick on my dress after the reception... (don't worry, we're cool now. Another friend helped to scrub most of it out).
"I was checking out the the David's Bridal wedding dress preservation package. Is it worth it, or should I just take my dress to the local cleaners?"
"OK, are you sure you want to preserve it even though it's been puked on? I'm admittedly extremely squeamish about vomit but I would probably in your situation get rid of the dress as I can't imagine preserving something that had vomit on it just because I would never feel like it was 'clean'."While another wrote:
"Eh, it's not ideal, but it's not the worst thing in the world. Preservation includes cleaning, so on top of my own cleaning it should be fine."
