Need a present in a hurry?

Okay, as much as we like to think we are super organised and on top of things coming up to Christmas, sometimes there’s one present we completely forget to buy.

And, we all know that a homemade present is so much more thoughtful and exciting than one bought in a shop.

So, if you have an aunt, neighbour, or work colleague you need a last minute gift for, then fear not because you can make these handy DIY gifts in an hour of less.

Sweet Santa Sleighs

These are so easy to make and they also look great too. All you need is a selection of chocolate bars, some candy canes and a glue gun or some double-sided sellotape and voilá you’ve got a present that any kid (or adult) will love.

Scrabble frame

This is a great gift for a family. All you need are some old scrabble tiles (which you can get online if you don’t have any) and a frame. Simply spell out the family members’ names on some coloured card and stick them down with glue. After that, all you have to do is pop it in a frame. Easy peasy!

A 2016 photo album

A lot can happen in a year. Because everything has gone digital, very few people actually print their photographs anymore. Make a friend or relative a photo album filled with all their favourite photos of 2016 and it will really make their day.

Dairygold knows that it’s not all about flashy presents and the most expensive gifts at this times of year, it’s about making a minute for the good stuff with your loved ones.

Dairygold asked its Facebook community to submit their Christmas #MakeaMinute moments to be included in a Christmas version of their TV ad and the results are gorgeous.
