"I had an extremely lucky escape."

Nicola Coughlan has shared images of the concrete block that she said crashed through her ceiling last night. The Derry Girls actor said that she was standing in the bathroom of her London flat just minutes before a large chunk of concrete fell from the roof above. Coughlan, who plays Claire in the comedy series, added that the event has "totally shaken" her. The National Landlord Association have since responded to Coughlan's tweets, saying that they have been in touch with the landlord and "that they are dealing with the issue and it will be resolved as quickly as possible." This comes less than a week after Derry Girls' Siobhán McSweeney, who plays Sister Michael in the hit Channel 4 show, issued a warning about the dangers of double cube plug adaptors.  https://twitter.com/siobhni/status/1193143598713315329?s=20 She said that the adaptor had fallen out of the plug socket slightly and started a fire, destroying her entire flat.
