The sun made a very welcome return today, which immediately got us dreaming of summer and the ubiquitous 99.
We all have our favourite spots for our cone fix but one of our readers brought a special Londis branch to our attention today.
The supermarket in Batterstown is said to be renowned for its large 99's and is on a constant mission to increase their size, winning plenty of fans in the process.
"With the weather being so awesome outside this week and with everyone loving a good 99, I just thought you should give these guys at Londis a shout out. Their cones are always huge. Currently they have managed to make a 33cm cone and each month, they try make them bigger and bigger," said the source.
Now we've heard plenty of brags about big cones before but video evidence has emerged to prove that these bad boys are impressive to say the least.
Is this the biggest 99 in Ireland? Answers on a postcard...
H/T to Colin Fahy for sending this one our way...
