Christopher and Audrey Hutchinson have been married for 70 years.
The couple, who have five children, spoke to The Berwick Advertiser and revealed their secrets to a happy marriage.
They married at St Bartholomew Church in Whittingham back in 1946 and now live in the village of Seahouses.

When questioned about “what makes a lasting marriage”, 94-year-old Christopher replied, “marry a pretty and intelligent woman”.
Audrey (92) was asked the same and her answer was “tolerance from us both” and in fairness, that is a very important ingredient for any partnership.
