Our fave author Jacqueline Wilson was in Dublin yesterday and people went MAD

Jacqueline Wilson holds a special place in our hearts.

The 70-year-old British author has written 100+ children's books and some characters of her stories were made into huge TV shows such as Tracy Beaker. As part of the International Literature Festival, Dame Wilson was in Dublin to greet fans yesterday evening in the RDS. She was at the festival to talk about her new book Rent-a-Bridesmaid which is her 104th release. Irish fans on Twitter were overjoyed to meet and hear of Jacqueline Wilson visiting our Emerald Isle:
