Colin Stafford-Jones is on the lookout for kestrels in Connemara. He also returns to see how the pine martens living in the attic are getting on.

 

MasterChef – BBC One (9.00pm)

John Torode and Gregg Wallace return for a new series. Tonight the first five hopefuls tackle the invention and palate tests.

Mohammed Salim is finding it tough to discipline his children and the Sullivans are dreaming of a move to Ireland.
