I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE.
Rabbits are great.
They’re lovely. They’re fluffy. They’re kind and they will imprint on you the second you become friends meaning that you are instantly bonded for life.
They’re a lovely bunch of guys and everybody should have one (or a dozen) in their life.
And if you’re in any way into the idea of a little fluffy friend, you might want to pop over to Manchester for a bit, get yourself a job there, and settle down because the RSPCA are looking for volunteers to cuddle their rabbits and cats.
The charity’s new Salford branch recently look in 30 cats, 49 rabbits, five mice, and a singular hamster – and they’re looking for some lovely people to come and mind them for a few hours a day.
Honestly, what could be cuter?
“As you can imagine we have had to hit the ground running with so many animals, which are desperately in need of our help,” Branch manager Susie Hughes told the Manchester Evening News.
“We are looking for volunteers to help us care for the animals and have already filled the cat socialiser roles, as they are always the most popular, but who doesn’t want to sit and cuddle kittens all day?
“We are also on the look out for people keen to help us with cleaning out the animals, spending time socialising the animals and end of day feeding 4pm to 6pm, which will suit people who have an early finish from work.”
Because what could be more fulfilling than spending your time cuddling and cleaning an animal in need?
The dream. For real.
Obviously, the aforementioned roles are only available in the Manchester, so the majority of you reading this (and us, tragically) will not be able to take up a position.
However, if you do happen to live in the Salford area yourself – or know someone who does – you can contact [email protected] to apply for the job of volunteer rabbit and kitty cuddler.
You know you want to.
