Aldi is selling hanging egg chairs for cats

Just a few weeks ago, consumers flocked to Lidl to get their hands on one of their coveted egg chairs, and we can see why. They make the perfect addition to your garden or balcony, and they'd make a cute indoor reading nook too. On top of that, they're durable and weather-resistant, which is essential when you're up against the unpredictable Irish weather. Now, it seems, the trend has made its way to the feline world. And why shouldn't it? Our cats deserve the best when it comes to comfort and they should settle for nothing less. Irish owners can now pick up their own adorable cat-sized hanging chair from Aldi on Sunday, 30 May for just €39.99. The egg chair, which has a metal stand, comes in either stylish natural or grey wicker. It also includes a reversible cushion for your cat's comfort needs. The hanging egg chair for cats isn't the only pet accessory coming to the European supermarket this month. If your cat is more partial to a ratten chair, Aldi have you sorted, with ratten cat igloos going for €29.99 a pop. Aldi have a whole line of eco-friendly pet items launching on 30 May. Irish shoppers can get their paws on wooden pet gates, recycled pet beds, bamboo dog harnesses, recycled dog coats and recycled dog toys. Speaking ahead of the release, Aldi's Pet Ambassador Lucy Kennedy said: "Anyone who knows me now knows myself and my dog Riley love Aldi’s middle aisle of Specialbuys." She continued: "We are all trying to be savvier with what we bring into our homes so anything that is made from recycled material is going to be a winner in our household!"
