A bride-to-be is facing backlash after seeking advice about her bridesmaid

People were not impressed.

This is awful.

A bride-to-be has got herself into an awkward position after looking for help online.

Redditor user Cocolumpia0784 reached out to people for advice on her unique situtation and received a huge backlash. She explained that her fiancé didn’t want her best friend to be part of the bridal party because she wasn’t attractive enough.

Her exact message was:

“Me and My fiance are starting to plan our wedding. It has been brought to my attention from my fiance that he does not want my BFF to be in our wedding because she is not attractive. He says he doesn’t want her ruining our wedding photos and only wants attractive people in our wedding party. I think that this is absurd.

I feel like my BFF will be assuming she is in the wedding party, but when I don’t ask her she will question it. I would feel horrible knowing I didn’t ask her because my fiance wants good looking people in our party.

I don’t know how to handle this. Ive asked my fiance to remove someone in his groom party but he doesn’t want to. Sadly I don’t have many girlfriends to pick from so I’m at a loss. Please I’m looking for advice if any.”

Instead of people giving her advice on what to do they have been telling her to rethink her marriage.

One person said, “This isn’t someone I’d want to get married to,” while another added, “There is a way to fix this in a way that will work out for everyone: Don’t marry a complete f**king asshole.”

Someone else said, “Ha ha ha, good luck with THAT marriage! What happens when YOU get older and “less attractive”? Or if you have kids and they “ruin your figure”?”

Another person was less than subtle with their feelings on the situation, “Fiancé is so hideous on the inside that she should probably just tell him she’s canceling the wedding until he gets plastic surgery on his f**ked up personality.”
