All eyes will be on the grounds of DCU today as the centenary final of the Ashbourne Cup will kick off at 3.30pm.
In a repeat of the last four years, the University of Limerick will take on Waterford IT in what is set to be a thrilling encounter.
In their semi-final on Saturday, UL beat UCC 0-14 to 0-8 with captain Cait Devane hitting a hugely impressive 0-12, seven from frees.
WIT meanwhile overcame NUI Galway by 3-17 to 0-9 in their semi-final.
The first half was a hard-fought and close affair with the sides going in at the break level on 1-4 to 0-7.
However, it was all one-way traffic in the second half and WIT drove on to a comprehensive win.
Today’s game will surely be a close and competitive affair. Reigning champions Limerick halted WIT’s dominance in the Cup, stopping them from securing their sixth title in a row last year by winning 0-12 to 1-8.
Make sure to get down to DCU by 3.30pm today for what is set to be a brilliant showcase of camogie.
Today’s game marks the celebration of the 100th year of the Ashbourne Cup. It was first played in Dublin in 1915 between UCC and UCD with Dublin scooping the first title.
Meanwhile earlier today in the Ashbourne Shield Final, UCD were crowned champions when they overcame DCU 4-7 to 3-3.
Elsewhere, Carlow IT were crowned Fr Meachair Cup winners with a 2-10 to 1-10 win over St Mary’s, while DIT and Mary Immaculate College will do battle for the Purcell Cup.
