A woman who is fighting breast cancer has decided to upload a photo of her breast to Facebook, to warn women to look out for even the smallest signs.
Lisa Royle found a slight dimple under her breast, and following a mastectomy, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 42-year old decided to use her story to create awareness though, sharing a photo of the subtle signs she spotted that led to her diagnosis.
Writing in her Facebook post, Lisa warned friends and family:
“Ok so I never thought I’d post a boob picture on Facebook but I thought I would before it gets chopped off next week.
So here it is….. This all that I found on my boob. Very subtle dimples underneath that could easily be missed when we’re all rushing round getting ready in a morning.
Please take time to look at your boobs. It could save you’re life.”

The Facebook photo has now gone viral, with the picture receiving more than 66,000 shares since she posted over a week ago.
Following her operation this week, husband Craig called his wife an ‘inspiration’ and assured followers she was doing well following her procedure.
