Getting your nails done, much like any other beauty procedure, can become addictive.

While we all want to look our best, it’s important to know a limit we shouldn’t pass when it comes to altering your natural beauty.

The latest beauty trend for women to indulge in is lip fillers, with so many people reporting feelings of being left ‘botched’ after bad medical practice.

One woman who has spoken about her addiction to getting her nails done is Amelia Perrin.

The beauty blogger shared photos of her nails after acrylics, showing the painful side to cosmetic beauty.

The blogger confessed to Cosmopolitan that she had been getting her nails done for 6 years straight with no breaks in between her appointments.

She also admitted that she didn’t have time to get her nails professionally removed, ripping them off soon.

Nail artist Britney Tokyo has advised that if any client wants nails immediately removed, they can go with the help of acetone remover.

“I never want anyone to peel off their gel or acrylic nails. By peeling off, the original nails can get severely damaged and very thin.”
