Conor McGregor’s diet sounds like something we can get involved with.
While UFC Featherweight Champion-esque muscles aren’t exactly our body goals, our January health buzz hasn’t QUITE worn off just yet – and this diet sounds very interesting.
“The Notorious” took to Instagram to promote his latest diet, called the Sirt food diet, which claims to burn fat while you eat by activating the “skinny gene”.
As well as eliminating fat, the “Sirtuin activators” found in Sirt-rich foods boast a heap of other health benefits including improved memory, muscle-building and controlled blood sugar levels.
The diet, created by nutritionist consultants Aidan Goggins and Glen Matten, encourages healthy eating without putting the emphasis on severe weight loss.
Here are the main foods listed on the diet. (We’ve highlighted the most important, for your convenience.)
Kale
Blueberries
Green Tea
Parsley
Red Onion
Rocket
Buckwheat
Citrus Fruits
Soy
Chilli
Turmeric
Walnuts
Apples
Dark Chocolate
Celery
Capers
Red Wine
